1. Regulate Breathing - Breathe deep, soothing, slow belly breaths.

  2. Let  It Go - Let go of negative actions, emotions, or events. Let go of the past.

  3. Know Your Own Self-Worth - Your self-worth is innate, it is a constant that never changes no matter what you do. Have a positive view of yourself

  4. Don’t ruminate on negative thoughts or events.

  5. Have good strong positive social connections. Positive relationships help us to feel healthier, happier, and satisfied with our lives.

  7. 3P’s - Realize that the problem is not personal, pervasive, or permanent

  8. Help Others

  9. Be mindful - focus on the present moment.  Notice what is in front of you.

  10. Acceptance - “Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” - Serenity Prayer

  11. Move toward your goals.

  12. Know your strengths and use them.

  13. Take care of yourself - Exercise, eat well, and engage in activities you enjoy.

  14. Always be hopeful.

  15. Lastly, don’t give up, keep persevering, trying the next thing.
